Sunisa Lee is an American artistic gymnast born March 9, 2003, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. She won the individual all-around gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, becoming the first Hmong-American Olympian and the first Asian American woman to win that title, and added an uneven bars bronze medal at the same Games; at the 2024 Paris Olympics she won team gold with the Golden Girls squad and bronze medals in the individual all-around and on uneven bars. She also won team gold at the 2019 World Championships and an NCAA balance beam title in 2022, and ranks as the seventh most decorated American female gymnast with nine world championship and Olympic medals combined.
