Rim Jong-sim is a North Korean retired weightlifter, born in 1993 in Pyongyang, who won Olympic gold in the women's 69 kilogram category at the 2012 London Games and in the 75 kilogram category at the 2016 Rio Games. She also won the 2019 World Championship at 76 kilograms, silver medals at the 2015 and 2018 World Championships, and Asian Games gold in 2018 and bronze in 2014. Her younger sister, Rim Un-sim, is also an Olympic weightlifter.
