Lasha Talakhadze is a Georgian super-heavyweight weightlifter born October 2, 1993. He has won Olympic gold at the 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Games, and is a seven-time world champion and seven-time European champion in the super-heavyweight division. Since 2021 he has held the all-time world records in the snatch at 225 kilograms, the clean and jerk at 267 kilograms, and the total at 492 kilograms.
