Evgeniya Kanaeva

Evgeniya Kanaeva is a retired Russian rhythmic gymnast and the only individual rhythmic gymnast in Olympic history to win two All-around gold medals, achieving the feat at the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Olympics, where she also became the oldest gymnast to win an Olympic gold in the event. She holds the record for the most World Championship titles won by a rhythmic gymnast, with seventeen victories, along with thirteen European titles, and is the only gymnast to win all six apparatus titles at a single World Championship, a feat she achieved twice, at the 2009 World Championship in Mie and the 2011 World Championship in Montpellier. Over a competitive career that ran from 2005 to 2012 she accumulated 164 international gold medals, making her one of the most decorated athletes in the history of her sport.
