Sir David Robert Joseph Beckham is an English former professional footballer, born in 1975, who played primarily as a right midfielder and is considered one of the greatest players of his generation and one of the greatest set piece specialists of all time. He won 19 major trophies in his career and is the only English player to have won a league title in four different countries, England, France, Spain and the United States, winning six Premier League titles and the 1999 UEFA Champions League with Manchester United before spells with Real Madrid, LA Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain. He captained England for six years, earning 58 caps as captain, and later became the founding president and co-owner of Inter Miami CF and a co-owner of Salford City.
