Peter Sagan is a Slovak former professional cyclist who competed in road and mountain bike racing before retiring in 2024. He won an unprecedented three consecutive men road race World Championships from 2015 to 2017 and holds the record of seven points classification titles at the Tour de France. He also won two cycling monuments, the Tour of Flanders in 2016 and Paris-Roubaix in 2018, and received the Velo d'Or in 2016, the year he also topped the UCI World Ranking.
