Fabian Cancellara is a Swiss professional road cyclist born March 18, 1981, in Wohlen bei Bern, Switzerland, nicknamed Spartacus, who competed from 2000 to 2016, primarily for Team CSC and Leopard Trek, specializing in time trials and one-day classics. He won four UCI World Time Trial Championships, in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010, two Olympic time trial gold medals, in 2008 and 2016, three editions each of Paris-Roubaix and the Tour of Flanders, and Milan-San Remo in 2008, and across his career he led the Tour de France for 29 total days, the most of any rider who never won the overall race.
