Alejandro Valverde Belmonte is a Spanish cyclist, born in 1980, who competed as a professional in road bicycle racing from 2002 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2022, and who now competes in gravel cycling for the Movistar Team Gravel Squad. Since March 2025 he has served as coach of the Spanish men's national cycling team.
