Oscar Palmer Robertson, nicknamed the Big O, is an American former professional basketball player, born in 1938, who played for the Cincinnati Royals from 1960 to 1970 and the Milwaukee Bucks from 1970 to 1974, winning the 1971 NBA championship with Milwaukee. During the 1961-62 season he became the first player in NBA history to average a triple double for an entire season, with 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists per game, a feat since matched only by Russell Westbrook and Nikola Jokic, and he finished his career with 181 triple doubles, 26,710 points and 9,887 assists. A twelve time All-Star, the 1964 NBA Most Valuable Player and the 1961 Rookie of the Year, he was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1980.
