Wilfredo Leon Venero is a volleyball outside hitter born July 31, 1993, in Santiago de Cuba, who represented Cuba's national team from 2007 to 2012, helping the team known as the Generation of Miracle win silver at the 2010 World Championship, before obtaining Polish citizenship and switching to represent Poland from 2019 onward. Playing club volleyball for Russia's Zenit Kazan he won multiple CEV Champions League titles, and with the Polish national team he won gold at the 2023 CEV European Championship and Olympic silver at the 2024 Paris Games. Standing 2.01 meters tall, he holds a recorded serve speed of 138 kilometers per hour, one of the fastest serves documented in the sport.
