Joseph Hachem, born March 11, 1966, is a Lebanese-Australian professional poker player recognized as the first Australian to win the World Series of Poker Main Event, taking the 2005 title and its $7.5 million first prize, then a record for the largest poker tournament payout. The following year he won a World Poker Tour title at the Bellagio's Five Diamonds Poker Classic for $2.2 million, making him one of only a small handful of players to have won both a WSOP Main Event and a WPT championship. His career tournament winnings have exceeded $12 million, and he was inducted into the Australian Poker Hall of Fame in 2009 with Legend Status.
