Jennie Finch is an American former softball pitcher who won an Olympic gold medal with the United States at the 2004 Athens Olympics and a silver medal at the 2008 Beijing Games. She was one of the most dominant collegiate pitchers in the sport's history at the University of Arizona, and her exhibition pitching matchups against Major League Baseball players drew wide public attention to the sport of softball. She became one of the most recognized ambassadors for women's softball both during and after her playing career.
