Wu Minxia

Wu Minxia is a retired Chinese diver born November 10, 1985, in Shanghai, who specialized in the 1 metre and 3 metre springboard and the synchronized 3 metre springboard events. An eight-time world champion and five-time Olympic and Asian champion, she won gold medals across four consecutive Olympic Games, in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016, and became the first woman to win gold in a diving event at three consecutive Olympics after her 2012 London victory. Across the Olympics, World Championships, the FINA Diving World Cup, the Summer Universiade and the Asian Games combined she amassed 31 gold, 12 silver and 3 bronze medals, making her one of the most decorated divers in history.
