TZAAR

Alignment and Abstract Strategy Games

TZAAR is a two-player abstract strategy board game designed by Kris Burm and published by SmartGames in 2007, the seventh release in Burm's GIPF Project series of connected abstract games. It officially replaced an earlier series entry, TAMSK, in the line-up. The game has no element of chance, involves only strategic decision-making on a hexagonal board, and was named Games Magazine's Game of the Year for 2009. Like its sibling titles in the GIPF Project, TZAAR can be played as a standalone game or combined with other entries in the series for expanded play.
